Indian Society Of Southern Arizona
2015 Picnic Recap
Meet new people! Share the culture! Come together to celebrate HOLI!
The ISSA Holi Picnic is for families to relax and have fun at the park. Holi is the Indian Festival of Colors. We
celebrate it by throwing colored powder at one another. Families and friends participate in this fun event. This year's
picnic was held at James D Kreigh Park.
We started the event with fun activities for the kids and socializing for the adults. Kids participated in henna, face-
painting, sack races, lemon and spoon races, volleyball and so much more. Afterwards, families enjoyed a delicious
lunch buffet. Finally, the colors began and everyone of all ages had fun spraying colors on their family and friends. It
was a great day to meet new people and celebrate Indian culture!
ISSA would like to thank everyone who came to support and all the families that became members.
